2019 Fellow Friday Kickoff
Throughout 2019, we’ll be recognizing the efforts of our Eagle Leader Fellows on #FellowFriday as they enrich veterans’ lives. Team RWB’s Eagle Leadership Development Program Fellows spend 12 months focusing on leading regionally through education, movement, genuine relationships and elevation (The Eagle Way) to increase the quantity and quality of veteran engagement in their region. Team RWB invests in our Fellows through Leadership, Mentorship and Education & Experiences.
- At Team RWB, we believe that leadership is a verb. Our Fellows spend the vast majority of their time leading or supporting meaningful projects, including leading fitness activities, facilitating Regional Eagle Leader video trainings to share best practices, recognizing Eagle Leaders and local supporters for their actions, and direct support of new Eagle Leaders & Chapters.
- Fellows report directly to their Mentor (Regional Director) and are also provided access to a coach (thought-partner) who has graduated from the Fellowship program. Dedicated time, both in-person and virtual, fosters an environment for increased understanding and collaborative effort as Fellows complete individual Professional Development Plans.
Education & Experiences
- The Education & Experience journey kicks off with a Convening in January. Education often takes the form of leadership development conferences or classes while experiences are challenging, physical events done as a Team that inspires veterans to take charge of their lives through health, people, and purpose.
We’ll highlight one of our 2019 Fellows each month. Follow the cohort’s journey on social media –> #EagleFire #ELDPFellows
