2.2 Flag Run/Walk/Crawl

Veterans Park, Bossier City, LA 71112

This walk is a 2.2 challenge walk/run to raise awareness that 22 veterans commit suicide daily. We will hold it on the 22nd of each month and walk/run 2.2 miles carrying the flag. We will meet in the parking lot at Veterans Park. Flags will be provided, you just need to bring your legs. Note: The State of Louisiana has eased some of the social distance requirements; however, we will continue to adhere to safety standards. Participants will wear masks as needed, observe 6-ft separation between members, and limit person to person contact. Everyone will avoid being in the slipstream of the leading person and maintain separation while staggered or side by side arrangement, or by keeping larger physical distances when speed and distance increase. If you are feeling sick, have a fever of a 100 degrees Fahrenheit or higher, have shortness of breath, or have been in close contact with a confirmed COVID positive individual, please stay home and join us at a future event.
