Functional Fitness: The World’s Greatest (Virtual)

After a week of March Madness Challenge, you might need this! The world’s greatest stretch is well...great! It targets every major muscle in the body especially those that get tight from sitting too long. Start in a plank position then keeping your back flat, bring your right foot up beside your right hand. Make sure your heel is down. Take your right hand and press your knee gently away from you. Release and twist your chest toward your right knee with your right arm overhead. Return to the plank position and repeat on the other side. Go for 10 total reps. Ladder starting with 10 reps of everything, then 9 reps, then 8 and so on, working down until you get to 1. Ladder movements: ground to overhead, sit-ups, air squats, and push-ups. A ground to overhead is squatting a weighted object down to the ground, standing and pressing the weight overhead. Keep it close to your body to maintain balance and control.
