Eagles, join us every second Saturday of the month for Kayaks at Canyon Lake. As the South Texas heat starts to rise, this is a great opportunity to get out in the water for an easy to moderate physical activity in a controlled setting. Safety is paramount so we will adhere to all standards and wear all appropriate safety gear during this activity regardless of experience - no exceptions! There are 9 kayaks (two are tandem) along with safety vests and paddles so you are welcome to use them at no expense. If you have your own equipment, such as kayak or a stand-up paddle board, you are welcome to bring it to this activity. Kayaks at Canyon is open to all abilities and we welcome all beginners so they can learn more about water sports. Wear appropriate water sports clothing (hat, rash guard, sunglasses, etc..) and bring some sunscreen and your preferred hydration. We will meet at Canyon Lake Boat Ramp #6. There are no special passes or access restrictions for this location so come on out and join us for some fun in the sun. We will see you all at the lake!!
