Marching Orders Kick-Off Reno

Join us as we kick off an eight day step challenge with a light walk/hike or run along Steamboat Ditch trail starting from Horseman's Park. A small social will follow at the park. We will have some light snacks and non-alcoholic beverages. This is a family and dog friendly event, but be sure to keep all animals (two-legged included) on a leash. Joking about the two-legged of course. All current Nevada COVID-19 guidelines will be followed. Follow the link to register for the event. As always, participation in these events is free with no obligation besides officially registering. However, there is an option to pay a fee for some event specific swag. There is also a fund-raising option. Research shows that taking 5,650 steps a day can contribute to positive overall health and wellbeing. Whether you find yourself stagnant or love a challenge, Marching Orders is for you. Walk, run, hike, ruck, or move – take your pick and commit to your 8-day goal at the Red, White or Blue level. Culminating on May 15, Armed Forces Day, gather with veterans, service members, family, and friends to crush your final daily goal and celebrate the accomplishment of completing your Marching Orders.
