Monday Night Ride in Cibolo
6:00 PM - 7:30 PM CDT
338 S Main St, Cibolo, TX 78108
Eagles, the summer Monday Night Ride in Cibolo is back! Join Eagle Leader Charles McCowan and other Eagle cyclists for a 21-mile ride in Cibolo and surrounding area. This is a NO DROP ride, but riders are highly encouraged to maintain a 15-17 mph pace. Riders should be aware of the distance and speed average as there will not be a short route. The event will begin and end at the YMCA Sports Complex. Riders must have a mechanically sound bike, serviceable bike helmet, riding shoes, and water bottles for hydration during the ride. There will be a pre-ride safety briefing and the ride will begin promptly at 1800. Please note as we are moving into the summer months, hydration prior to the ride is key to preventing heat related issues, so please hydrate adequately throughout the day. Please come out and get some Eagle time with other awesome Eagle Cyclist! Note: The State of Texas has eased some of the social distance requirements; however, we will continue to adhere to published safety standards. Participants will wear masks as needed, observe 6-ft separation between members, and limit person to person contact. Everyone will avoid being in the slipstream of the leading person and maintain separation while staggered or side by side arrangement, or by keeping larger physical distances, where the distances increase with the walking, running, or cycling speed. If you are feeling sick, have a fever of a 100 degrees Fahrenheit or higher, have shortness of breath, or have been in close contact with a confirmed COVID positive individual, please stay home and join us at a future event.
