Hi Eagles! This is from Bryan Peters the local Tillman Run coordinator: Please bring out the troops...and FLAGS!! Due to high flooding along the Mississippi/Cliff Cave Park, we are pivoting and having the 4.2 mile FUN run/walk at: Grants Trail 4300 Hoffmeister Ave. St. Louis, MO 63125 (This is right by Orlando Gardens Catering facility off Hwy 55/Union Blvd, a funky side road. Closest exit is most likely Reavis Barracks or Bayless Rd). - So- DO NOT GO TO CLIFF CAVE PARK on Saturday. - this is a cool section along Grants Trail we will be running/walking, we start right at 9AM. -The trail is part nature and urban at the same time (see the Republic Services facility as you run along the trail!) - this is a FUN run and non timed event. - this is a public trail, please be kind to others. - We will gather is a safe/spaced out manner, any group picture, wear your masks and remain socially distanced, may need a wide lens! -Please bring family/friends if you wish. -Run with a flag should you desire! - I may or may not have a cooler of adult canned items. -Please plan accordingly and bring your own snacks and WATER to stay hydrated. -This is a nice flat paved trail, follows along Hwy 55, with some cool bridges to run over. - we will start right at 9AM after the blow horn (if it works...) - I will be also selling popular Pat Tillman 2021 pints (empty) to purchase as well. Cash/Check only. - Dress accordingly, showing high 66 that day , 40% (don't say it). Other Covid related items, friendly reminders: if you have had COVID within the past two weeks or if they have been in contact with anyone who has COVID in the past 14 days, you SHOULD NOT ATTEND the Honor Run. And of course if you are feeling ill the morning of the event, please do not attend. Masks are required at check-in and the area around the start & finish lines (basically in your gathering areas, I will have a table top with some items but no official registration table). You may remove their mask while you are running/walking and you should maintain a safe distance from others outside of their group at all times.
