Run for Ruhl 5K

The Run For Ruhl idea came from a group of people close to Dave Ruhl, a US Forest Service Wildland Firefighter who lost his life on a California wildfire in July 2015. Dave was a passionate and quiet man who loved his family and the outdoors to include hunting, fishing, and nature. Dave also cared about his fellow firefighters and made sure they had any opportunity available to them. One of those opportunities was to know about an organization who was there for wildland firefighters in their greatest need, the Wildland Firefighter Foundation. The WFF offers support to fallen and injured wildland firefighters and their families during the initial period after an incident when federal support may not be immediately available. All proceeds from this fun run will be donated directly to WFF in Dave's memory.
