Santa Ruck – Go Ruck Light

10:00 AM - 03:00 PM AKST

(Specific start point TBA), Anchorage, AK 99501

Team RWB Anchorage is jumping in on a family friend Go Ruck Santa Ruck event!!

From the event's organizer, Daniel Delfino:

"Ever catch yourself yearning for long winter rucks, heavy things to carry and snowy PT sessions lead by a special forces cadre?

Well, this is your chance to live that Alaskan dream while playing a muscular version of Jolly St. Nick... for charity!

$75 gets you entry, and kids can be brought along for an additional $5 per child (assuming a parent has registered). Kids are anyone under 18 years old.

Registration is available through:

http://www.teamninja.org/santaruck/

The Santa Ruck is a custom GoRuck event, and it follows the GoRuck Light rules. At the end of the event, you'll receive a cool patch and other swag.

Here's how it works, we need a minimum of 20 adults to make this happen. The event can handle a maximum of 35 adults (kids are not counted towards the maximum).

Once we get to 20, we can submit a Cadre wish list to GoRuck and they'll officially put us in the queue.

The number of ways this event does good in our community isn't set. It can be $'s raised, we can carry presents, food, or any other combination of holiday cheer. But it all starts with people signing up.

If 35 people register, the designated charity will receive $775 through our fees plus anything we give / deliver. The designated charity is the Mat-Su Special Santa program.

FYI - when you register through PayPal, you'll see the payment is going to Bill Vernon. Bill's the guy who's organizing these custom events and is a bona fide GRT.

Spread the good word to any and all people who might be interested in this so Santa's Home State is included in the list of communities participating in this year's "Santa Ruck."

Important Detail: If we don't meet the minimum registration numbers for this event, anyone who's registered will receive a full refund."

Please login or create an account to register for this event
