After much consideration for the physical and mental safety of our members during this stressful and uncertain time, we felt it was important for the leadership team to revisit our current stance on in-person events. For those who are comfortable with the reinstatement of some in-person events, we will be abiding by all current suggestions/restrictions from the CDC, Federal, State and Local governments. At the current time we can do so while reimplementing some of our in-person events. Your safety and well-being is our number one priority! Each individual should make the best decision for themselves. If you or others in your household have medical issues, an immune deficiency, or are uncomfortable in any way regarding in-person events, please choose to not attend. We will continue to offer both National and local virtual events via our app and website. We currently have “Take Flight” happening throughout January and the “Taji 100” that runs throughout February. Effective immediately both the Saturday morning “Get Up and Go” event held at Avenue Brew at 8am and the “Sunday Morning Fun Run/Walk/Ruck” at 8am will be reinstated. Other events will be evaluated as they arise. There might also be situations in which we will have to slightly alter some of the configurations of our in-person events in order to stay within the current regulations. If we begin to have turn outs over 10 people, we can choose to split groups, offering multiple start locations or times, etc. We are beyond excited to see all of your smiling faces again, but in order to participate in any in-person events, a mask must be worn properly “and/or” maintain 6ft of social distancing while not “actively exercising”. We will also observe the current curfew in place and not allow events between 10pm – 5am. We are open to suggestions of social or physical events that can be executed safely so send them our way!
