Wednesday Bi-Weekly Outdoor Climb

Join us for our bi-weekly outdoor climb! We will have a few top rope anchors setup along any of Carderock's 135 climbing routes. All fitness/capability levels are welcome. We will teach the necessary skills to make outdoor climbing safe and enjoyable, as well as help develop more advanced skills for climbers looking to take it to the next level. Personal climbing shoes and harnesses are recommended. Bring your top rope anchor gear if you have it. IMPORTANT: Rock Climbing is inherently dangerous. By participating in this event, the participating party accept all liability in the event of personal injury. NOTICE TO ALL PARTICIPANTS: The U.S., the District of Columbia, The State of Maryland and the Commonwealth of Virginia are all under State and National Health Emergencies as a result of the COVID-19 Pandemic. Participation is voluntary and anyone participating in any Team RWB in-person event accepts all risks associated with participation under the current health emergency As mentioned above, Participation is voluntary. As a result of the pandemic, the Washington DC Chapter of Team RWB will be enforcing the following precautions in regards to a return to hosting in-person events: Check-ins are MANDATORY for in-person events for both Contact Tracing purposes and to confirm participant read, understands, and agrees to these guidelines. Whether done before arriving or at the start of the event, all participants will be required to check in for contact tracing purposes. If any participant tests positive for COVID-19 after an event, they must contact the event coordinator so Team RWB may invoke contact tracing protocols. The event will not start as long as there are participants who have not checked in. Masks and social distancing will be fully enforced as they relate to the measures stated by the jurisdictions where the event will be occurring. If any participant does not have a mask, they can request one from the event coordinator. Hand sanitizer will be provided as well upon request. Failure to comply with the safety measures as stated above may result in the participant being asked to leave the event. Team RWB DC wants to ensure that all Veterans, Service members, Supports and families are given opportunities to participate in shared activities to Enrich the Lives of America’s Veterans, however, it is vitally important that all Eagles do their part to ensure the safety of others as well.
