Jill joined Team RWB Columbia in May of 2016. As a former Department of the Army Civilian Employee and a current PTSD Therapist at the Truman VA in Columbia, Missouri she is familiar with the struggles Service Members experience as they return from deployments and/or transition out of the military and into the civilian community. As a result, she is passionate about doing her part, as a Community Member, to help Service Members, Veterans, and their Families adapt to their “new normal” in their communities. In June of 2016, she assumed the position of Chapter Co-Captain of Team RWB Columbia, Missouri and in June of 2018 she began serving as the sole Captain of Team RWB Columbia, Missouri. Jill is a HUGE Brene Brown fan and she fully supports the Teams’ values of being transparent, responsible, and honest as these values are aligned with her core values of trust, authenticity, and connection. Jill is newly married and she enjoys spending time cooking with her husband. She also loves learning and can be found reading several books at the same time or listening to various different Podcasts. While her introverted side can sometimes take over, she can also be quite extroverted. Beware of her enthusiastic High Five!
