Chapter: Pacific Region / Inland Empire

Motto: “Be Humble & Kind.”

Why Did You Join Team RWB?

“I needed a sense of belonging. After an ugly divorce I knew I had to refocus my energy and turn it into something positive. The sense of community and belonging was exactly what I was searching for. Team RWB has been such a positive and rewarding experience for me. I am so grateful to my fellow Eagles for helping my find myself again.”

What has Been Your Favorite Event or Experience with Team RWB?

“I’ve only been a Team RWB member for a short time, but I have enjoyed all the events I have participated in thus far. I’m excited for more events, I enjoy working along side other Veterans and the Civilians who love and support our Military.”

How do you serve your community?

“As a member of Team RWB, I help the local VFW. I plan, coordinate, and host brunches at the VFW to raise funds for local Veterans in need as well as the local Boy Scout troop. I serve my community by getting others motivated and involved in local activities.”

What Inspires You?

“People inspire me, I see the good in others. This inspires me to be more, do more, and to give more. Giving doesn’t necessarily have to be a financial thing, giving your time to others is the most selfless thing you can do, you will never get that time back. I am inspired when I see our team members who work full time, go to school full time, single parents doing great things in the community.”

How Has Team RWB Impacted Your Life?

“Team RWB has impacted my life by helping me realize that life does go on after tragic events. Bad things happen to us all, but together we pull through. Team RWB has helped me connect to other veterans who share similar interest. It as also opened me up to volunteering and helping others more. I’ve learned to be kinder, more patient, and more accepting of others.”

What Would You Say to Someone Who is Thinking of Joining Team RWB?

“JOIN NOW!!! If you are looking to be a part of something larger than life, join Team RWB. If you are trying to connect to other veterans or members of your community, Team RWB can help you achieve those goals and so many more. If you want to give back and have fun doing it, then Team RWB is for you!”
