Motto: “When you have more than you need, build a longer table, not a higher fence.”
Why Did You Join Team RWB?
“I joined Team RWB as a way to get plugged into the military community off base in a more casual environment. I thought it would be the perfect way to get that connect with our peers and families that weren’t in our command and a way to find that work-life balance. What I got was SO much more than that. I got a greater sense of purpose to self and community.”
What has Been Your Favorite Event or Experience with Team RWB?
“My favorite experience hands down was attending the Eagle Leadership Academy in April 2017 up at The Landing in Alexandria. It was the most humbling, fulfilling, life-changing experience. I met some of the finest people I’ve ever come in contact with and walked away with a full heart, humbled path and a spark to my Eagle Fire that I am not sure anyone could put out.”
How do you serve your community?
“I serve my community as the Communications Director for Team RWB Camp Lejeune and I am also a member of Milspo Project. I volunteer my time as the Director of Lasting Impressions to empower military spouse entrepreneurs and help bring awareness to the military spouse under and unemployment crisis.”
What Inspires You?
“My family, service to others, and striving every day to leave a meaningful impact in the world.”
How Has Team RWB Impacted Your Life?
“It has given me a greater sense of self and made me life-long connections that I can’t put into words how much they mean to me.”
What Would You Say to Someone Who is Thinking of Joining Team RWB?
“If you need a tribe that will leave meaningful footprints in your mind, body and soul – you need Team RWB.”
