Kristi Sieben

RYT200, CPT, Group Exercise Instructor, GEAR Indoor Cycle Instructor, Les Mills BodyPump, BodyCombat, and BodyFlow instructor

Kristi is an Air Force veteran and spouse living in Colorado, and leads Team RWB’s Yoga Community as a Sport Ambassador and is proud to be your Take Flight Yoga coach this year! Kristi encourages Team RWB Eagles to move, balance, stretch, and breathe on and off the mat. She’s designed a 31-day Take Flight yoga program for yogis of all levels, and will continue to teach live classes accessible through the Team RWB app. 

“Yoga improves every aspect of life, and can be practiced at any time and anywhere!  Even 2 minutes of mindful focused breathing has tons of benefits. Yoga isn’t just for the flexible. No matter your fitness level or goals, yoga can help improve focus and peace, and increase your physical and mental health!

Cindy Moore

MS, CSCS, and CF-L1

Cindy is an Army veteran and spouse living in Virginia, and leads Team RWBs Functional Fitness community as a Sport Ambassador. Along with a team of Eagle coaches and trainers, Cindy has designed a 31-day Take Flight functional fitness program for Eagles of all levels to integrate daily movement into their schedules. They’re standing by to support you with any modifications, questions, or encouragement you need!

Sean Buzzard

ACE Personal Trainer and Health Coach, USATF-L1, TRX, Stress Management & Mindfulness specialist

Sean is an Air Force veteran living in Pittsburgh and leads the Team RWB Pittsburgh chapter as their captain. Recently separated from the Air Force, Sean has applied his passion for fitness to lead the way through his transition. Sean is a track and field coach, avid runner and rucker, and holds multiple certifications to help Eagles who want to lace up and Take Flight as their running coach this year. 

“Whether you are an experienced runner or venturing into uncharted territory, we are here to make the journey a little bit easier by being your support crew. Questions about the plan, gear, injury prevention, staying motivated, etc. – that’s what we are here for. I look forward to the journey with all of you!”

Jannell MacAulay, PhD

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Jannell spent 20 years in the US Air Force where she commanded the 400-member joint 305th Operations Support Squadron, wasa professionalism and leadership instructor, and served as the Director of Human Performance and Leadership for the 58th Special Operations Wing. Most recently, she serves as a Human Performance consultant for the US Air Force, Department of Justice, and corporate America. Her latest venture is a partnership with Pete Carroll, the coach of the Seattle Seahawks & Dr. Michael Gervais, a world-class sports psychologist.

Combining their expert work with the NFL, Olympians, and the military, they’ve developed an effective, performance-based warrior mindset training experience for individuals and organizations called Warrior’s Edge. She is a graduate of the US Air Force Academy, has a Masters Degree in Kinesiology and a Ph.D. with work in the field of strategic health & human performance.

Dr. MacAulay is a certified wellness educator, yoga instructor, mindfulness researcher, and holds a certificate in plant-based nutrition. She is a mother of two, and a combat veteran with over 3000 flying hours as a pilot in the C-21, C-130, & KC-10 aircraft.

Dr. Jannell MacAulay will be joining us as a special guest on the Healthy Habits roundtable scheduled for January 3 at 1:00 p.m (ET).

Meb Keflezighi

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Meb Keflezighi is the only runner in history to win the Boston Marathon, the New York City Marathon and an Olympic medal.  Known all over the world by his first name, Meb is a four-time Olympian and a 23x National Champion with titles on the track, the roads, and in cross country.

Meb was born in the East African nation of Eritrea, a beautiful country fighting a war of Independence at the time of his birth. Meb arrived in San Diego, California at age 12 without knowing a word of English. Through running, Meb attracted national attention and earned a scholarship to UCLA, where he won four NCAA titles and graduated with a degree in Communication Studies and a specialization in business.

The crowning moment of Meb’s career came on April 21, 2014 at the Boston Marathon. One year after bombs detonated at the finish line, Meb won the race in a stunning and unexpected fashion. His patriotic victory – the first for an American man since 1983 – sparked an avalanche of media and celebration. President Barack Obama placed a phone call to Meb after the race and soon thereafter invited Meb and his wife Yordanos Asghedom to a special dinner at the White House.

Meb has been recognized as Runner’s World Magazine’s“Most Influential Person In Running.” His retirement at the 2017 New York City Marathon was capped off by a farewell celebration that received national coverage. Meb has served a brand ambassador for CEP Compression since 2012. Today, Meb lives in Tampa, Florida with his wife and 3 daughters.

Meb will be joining us as a special guest for the Sunday running coach hangouts on January 3 at 11:30 a.m. 

Luke Rowe 

Luke Rowe served as an E-5 in the 82nd ABN, Infantry. His running career is now in it’s 52nd year and includes 29 marathons and 12 JFK 50 finishes. Luke hopes that 2021 will be my 13th and he will compete for top 3 in his age group.

Luke comes from a long line of Army soldiers – his oldest brother retired as a Major General and his son-in-law is a One-Star General. Luke’s little brother retired as a Lt. Col. and now teaches at the Command and Staff School at Leavenworth. Luke equaled his father who was an E-5 in WWII (Pacific) and his grandfather who was an E-4 in France during WWI.

Since leaving the Army, Luke has worked in the running industry including 10 years at Brooks as VP of Sales and 14 years leading Fleet Feet in vendor relationships, store development, and biomechanics education.  Today he serves as a Senior Vice President at CEP Compression.

Luke will be joining us as a special guest for the Sunday running coach hangouts on January 3 at 11:30 a.m. 

Benjamin Bunn

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Coach Bunn loves helping people achieve goals they didn’t think were possible. A former Green Beret, Coach Bunn knows personally what it takes to push his body to the limit. Coach Bunn is a highly sought military trainer—helping multiple cadets successfully train and pass Special Forces’ Selection process.

Ben’s accomplishments: 
Retired Special Forces Green Beret, Competed in 8x CrossFit Opens, 225lb Snatch and 325lb Clean and Jerk

Ben will be joining us as a special guest for the functional fitness Sunday coach’s hangouts on both January 3 and 17 at 12:30pm ET/ 9:30 am PT. 

Mike Erwin

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Mike Erwin founded Team RWB in 2010 and served as the organization’s first Executive Director until 2013.  He continued to chair the Board of Directors until 2016, and returned as Executive Director in 2019.

Mike is a 2002 graduate of The U.S. Military Academy at West Point where he was commissioned as an officer and went on to serve three combat tours with the First Cavalry Division and 3rd Special Forces Group.  Mike continues to serve the nation as a Lt. Colonel in the U.S. Army Reserves, assigned to the United States Military Academy at West Point, where he is an Assistant Professor. He is the co-author of LEAD YOURSELF FIRST by Bloomsbury Press (2017).  Mike and his wife Genevieve live on a 32-acre farm in North Carolina, where they raise their five young children.

Mike will be joining us as the moderator of our Healthy Habits roundtable scheduled for January 3 at 1:00 p.m.

Elliott Quinones 

Elliott is a veteran of the United States Army Infantry serving in the 10th Mountain Division through 3 deployments to Afghanistan. Later in his career, he served as a Drill Sergeant on Sandhill before purchasing Live Ready Fitness, formally CrossFit Deprivation.   

Elliott has a passion for helping people unlock their potential believing that nutrition, fitness, and mindset can be the keys to lifelong success and happiness.  

He has his CrossFit Level 3 certification making him one of the few Certified CrossFit Trainers though his gym recently unaffiliated. “We can do so much more than just CrossFit at this facility that it did not seem to align with our future vision” 

He also has a mindset and hormone specialist certification out of the Nutritional Coaching Institute as well as Level 1 Nutrition Specialist. He has attended the military athlete programming course, Affiliate excellence course, and a variety of other courses and certifications. He is currently pursuing a degree in Management with a concentration in Leadership.

Joel is a husband, dad, and veteran. He currently lives in Philadelphia with his wife and two children, runs a sustainable dining restaurant as General manager, and serves as a floor coach at Main Line Gym.

With 14 marathons in the last 5 years, 1 year sober, and a Team RWB member for 6 years, we’re thrilled to have Joel join us for our Healthy Habits roundtable scheduled for January 3 at 1:00 p.m.
