Team RWB COVID-19 Response
Team Red, White & Blue holds the physical and mental wellbeing of our volunteers, communities, and staff as our top priority. Our response to the coronavirus pandemic continues to be informed by the guidance of official entities, including the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, whose framework for mitigation for community groups is based on the level of community transmission of COVID-19.
We advise all community chapters, volunteers, and members to monitor and conform with their local and state government health guidance, in order to implement the appropriate controls to help keep Team RWB events safe. When in doubt, volunteer leaders should look to their Area Directors for guidance on whether to resume or continue hosting events. If a community chapter is hosting in-person events but has restrictions in place (e.g., no more than 10, social distancing of 6 ft. etc.), the participants must meet and abide by those restrictions.
We are taking similar steps as a national organization as we continue to monitor the environment with the best interests of our community chapters, volunteers, and staff in mind. We thank all of our volunteer leaders for helping to support both their communities and the Team RWB mission in these difficult times.
