TrueCar has a long history of supporting our nation’s service members and veterans, with over thirteen years of helping the military community find and purchase vehicles at TrueCar network dealers. On May 4, 2020, TrueCar launched an expanded program for our nation’s veterans, service members, and their families, including a partnership with Team Red, White & Blue. 

Supporting Veterans, Together

Team RWB and TrueCar have worked together since 2017 when the company supported Old Glory Relay – an epic journey that took the flag through 24 states and 10,000 pairs of hands over a 62-day period. Together, Team RWB, TrueCar, and thousands of supporters and veterans put a spotlight on the impact physical activity has on veterans’ health and wellness. 

The two organizations also teamed up to give away vehicles to injured veterans through TrueCar’s Driven To Drive Program, which has awarded four vehicles to veterans since 2017.

Juan Barnett, a Team RWB member and TrueCar employee, served in the U.S. Army. As a veteran, he is excited for what TrueCar and its partners will learn from America’s military community as part of the expanded military initiative and support.

“VSOs (veteran service organizations) play a huge role in supporting our service members. From pre-deployment activities to medical discharge and beyond these groups are motivated by a singular goal: assistance,” said Barnett. “These groups, much like the dealers in our network, are woven into the communities they care for and serve. I’m enthusiastic about new opportunities to support VSOs, including Team RWB, and our dealers within their local communities.”
